It wasn’t the best of times for The Sayan House when we took over the management. Most tourists and expats living in the area didn't even know of its existence. In only four years we’ve managed to turn things around, making it one of the best ranked restaurants in review sites, and a very popular spot for both visitors and residents.

Ubud has become one of Bali’s main tourist attractions and is an extremely competitive market; with over nine hundred restaurants fighting over customers and striving to get decent rankings. When we took over, The Sayan House had a weak concept and a decreasing profit margin.
But we saw the potential this place had! We created a strong fusion cuisine type, designed a brand concept to help us tell the story, invested in staff training, and became the ideal wedding venue.
In a matter of months we started seeing the results of our strategy. Our new offering of Japanese-Latin fusion was turning heads; our concept “the romance between wasabi and chili”, was having a positive response; and our staff was delivering a 5-star service.
The Sayan House was PDS Indonesia’s first project, and first success story too!
