We had seen enough superficial and meaningless souvenirs being sold around the island of Bali, to identify an opportunity to innovate. We envisioned a souvenir shop where every item has to be carefully designed, produced or selected to capture, in one way or another, the essence of its place of origin.

The idea for From Where I Stand was a consequence of our deep understanding of what being a traveler really means. The long journeys and the short weekend excursions, the sights, the cultures, the images and smells. The excitement of being somewhere foreign and wanting to bring a piece of it back home. We tried to capture the essence of travel memories.
We came up with this concept so that people could take home unique quality items that reflect the essence of their country of origin.
